The salient items to accomplish the planned growth for our regular steel business and new aluminum markets are:
Aluminum
Drop Bottom Furnace – Manufactured by
Kleenair Products Co., Clackamas, OR.
174” x 174” x 48” high working zone, 8,000
lb. load capacity, with rapid quench capability via drop bottom
quench into a 19,000 gallon water tank.
Aluminum
Age Heat Treat Oven – Manufactured by Kleenair Products
Co., Clackamas, OR.
Same size as above, with designed operating temperature of 170-600F. Conforms
to all requirements of AMS 2750, AMS 2770 and AMS 2772.
Ring
Expander – Manufactured
by Fontijne Grotnes, Inc., Itasca, IL.
Unit is of a proven design, 2000 Ton capability - a 5” stroke
with 12 segment expansion head. ID capability of 32” to
136” ID x 30” high.
Capable of stretching rings with an 80 square inch cross section
(for example - 8” thick wall and 10” high).
Steel
Heat Treating Complex – Manufactured by Kleenair Products
Co. Clackamas, OR.
This two furnace system features a 170” x 170” x 48” high
work zone with operating capability from 800 to 2025F with +/-10F
uniformity. The max. load capacity is 25,000 lbs. The
large water quench tank holds 25,000 gallons and has full agitation
rated at 126,400 gallons per minute.
